Support the spring seat of the rear axle beam assembly using a jack and wooden block.

CAUTION:

Do not jack up the rear axle beam assembly too high as the vehicle may fall.


NOTICE:
·

When jacking up the rear axle beam assembly, be sure to jack it up slowly.

·

Make sure to perform this operation with the vehicle kept as low as possible.

·

Keep supporting the rear axle beam assembly with a jack until the installation of the rear shock absorber assembly is completed.

Remove the bolt and separate the rear shock absorber assembly while compressing the rear shock absorber assembly.

Remove the 2 bolts and rear shock absorber assembly from the vehicle.

Secure the rear shock absorber assembly in a vise using aluminum plates.

NOTICE:

Do not overtighten the vise.

Using a 6 mm hexagon socket wrench, hold the rear shock absorber rod and remove the rear support to rear shock absorber nut.


c.

Remove the rear No. 1 shock absorber cushion washer from the rear shock absorber assembly.

Remove the rear suspension support from the rear shock absorber assembly.

Remove the rear suspension support assembly from the rear shock absorber assembly.


Hide 48752A 6.REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION SUPPORT STOPPER

Remove the rear suspension support stopper from the rear shock absorber assembly.

Remove the rear No. 1 spring bumper from the rear shock absorber assembly.
