MAINTENANCE  REAR BRAKE FLEXIBLE HOSE(for Torsion Beam Type Suspension with Electric Parking Brake)  REMOVAL  


CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

NOTICE:

When reusing the rear flexible hoses, use the identification marks created during removal to install each rear flexible hose to its original position.


HINT:
·

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

·

The following procedure is for the LH side.



PROCEDURE

Hide 2.DRAIN BRAKE FLUID

NOTICE:

If brake fluid leaks onto any painted surface, immediately wash it off.


Hide 47324B 3.REMOVE REAR NO.2 BRAKE TUBE FLEXIBLE HOSE

Remove the union bolt and gasket, and disconnect the rear No.2 brake tube flexible hose from the rear disc brake cylinder assembly.

Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the brake tube while holding the rear No.2 brake tube flexible hose with a wrench.

NOTICE:
·

Do not kink or damage the brake tube.

·

Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt or dust to enter the brake tube from the connecting parts.




c.

Remove the clip and rear No.2 brake tube flexible hose from the flexible hose bracket.


Hide 47319F 4.REMOVE REAR FLEXIBLE HOSE

Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the brake tube while holding the rear flexible hose with a wrench.

NOTICE:
·

Do not kink or damage the brake tube.

·

Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt or dust to enter the brake tube from the connecting parts.




b.

Remove the clip from rear flexible hose.


c.

Remove a bolt and separate rear flexible hose.

Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the brake tube while holding the rear flexible hose with a wrench.

NOTICE:
·

Do not kink or damage the brake tube.

·

Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt or dust to enter the brake tube from the connecting parts.




e.

Remove a clip and separate rear flexible hose.
