INTERIOR PANELS / TRIM  INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD  REASSEMBLY  

1.INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION (w/o Upper Instrument Panel)

a.

Clean the instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly surface.

i.

Remove any remaining double-sided tape from the instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly.

ii.

Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

b.

Remove the release paper from a new instrument panel cushion.

HINT:

After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

c.

Install the 4 instrument panel cushions.

55950G 2.INSTALL DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY

a.

Install the defroster nozzle assembly with the 3 screws <E>.

82142A 3.INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE

a.

w/o Upper Instrument Panel:

i.

Engage the 2 clamps to install the No. 2 instrument panel wire.

b.

w/ Upper Instrument Panel:

i.

Engage the clamp to install the No. 2 instrument panel wire.

a.

Clean the upper instrument panel assembly surface.

i.

Remove any remaining double-sided tape from the upper instrument panel assembly.

ii.
