System operation check (vehicle being driven)

i.

Turn the ignition switch to ON (READY).


ii.

Operate the EV drive mode switch (combination switch assembly) and drive the vehicle using EV drive mode.


iii.

When the shift lever is moved from P to D, confirm that the acoustic vehicle alerting system operates (produces a sound) when the vehicle is driven at speeds of 25 km/h (16 mph) or less using EV drive mode.
