(Windshield Wiper Motor Assembly)


a.

Apply battery voltage to the windshield wiper motor assembly and check the LO operation.

OK:
Condition Specified Condition
Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (+1)
Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 5 (E) 		Motor operates at low speed (LO)



b.

Apply battery voltage to the windshield wiper motor assembly and check the HI operation.

OK:
Condition Specified Condition
Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 4 (+2)
Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 5 (E) 		Motor operates at high speed (HI)


If the result is not as specified, replace the windshield wiper motor assembly.
