NR Series INTAKE / EXHAUST INTERCOOLER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

Hide Display 1.DRAIN COOLANT (for Intercooler)

Hide Display 89421K 2.REMOVE NO. 1 TURBO PRESSURE SENSOR

Hide Display 16551C 3.DISCONNECT NO. 1 INTERCOOLER COOLING WATER HOSE

Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 1 intercooler cooling water hose from the intercooler assembly.

Hide Display 16554C 4.DISCONNECT NO. 4 INTERCOOLER COOLING WATER HOSE

Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 4 intercooler cooling water hose from the intercooler assembly.

Hide Display 17940D 5.REMOVE INTERCOOLER ASSEMBLY

Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts and disconnect the intercooler assembly from the throttle body with motor assembly.

Slide the 2 clips and disconnect the 2 No. 1 turbo water hoses from the intercooler assembly.

Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the No. 2 turbo water pipe sub-assembly from the intercooler assembly.

Loosen the hose clamp and remove the intercooler assembly from the air tube assembly and throttle body with motor assembly.

Remove the throttle body gasket from the intercooler assembly.
