NR Series EMISSION CONTROL  PURGE VALVE  INSTALLATION  


CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

NOTICE:

When installing the fuel vapor feed hose, hold the purge valve body securely in place by hand.


PROCEDURE

Hide 25860 1.INSTALL PURGE VALVE (PURGE VSV)

a.

Install the purge valve (purge VSV) to the intake manifold with the bolt.

Torque:
10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)


b.

Connect the No. 1 fuel vapor feed hose to the purge valve (purge VSV).


c.

Install the No. 2 fuel vapor feed hose to the purge valve (purge VSV).


d.

Engage the wire harness clamp to the purge valve (purge VSV).


e.

Connect the purge valve (purge VSV) connector.


f.

Engage the clamp and install the No. 1 check valve to the intake manifold.


g.

Connect the No. 2 fuel vapor feed hose to the No. 1 check valve.

Connect the No. 3 fuel vapor feed hose to the No. 1 check valve and slide the clip to secure it.

HINT:

Make sure that the No. 3 fuel vapor feed hose and clip are positioned as shown in the illustration.
