Check the resistance.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
12 (SS1) - 3 (GND)
6 (SS2) - 3 (GND)
11 (SS3) - 3 (GND)
Not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
Pushed Below 1 Ω


If the result is not as specified, replace the engine switch.

Check the LED illumination.

Apply battery voltage between the terminals of the engine switch and check the illumination condition of the engine switch indicator light.

OK:
Condition Specified Condition
Battery positive (+) → Terminal 5 (SWIL)
Battery negative (-) → Terminal 3 (GND)
Illuminates


If the result is not as specified, replace the engine switch.
