Apply a small amount of engine oil to the O-ring of the oil pressure switching valve assembly.

*b	Torque Wrench Fulcrum Length

Using a 10 mm union nut wrench, install the oil pressure switching valve assembly to the oil pump relief valve housing assembly with the bolt.

Torque:

Specified tightening torque : 8.5 N*m (87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf)

NOTICE:

When reusing the oil pressure switching valve assembly, inspect the O-ring.

·

Make sure that the O-ring is not cracked or does not move out of place during installation.

HINT:

·

Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.

When using a 10 mm union nut wrench (fulcrum length of 22 mm (0.866 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 162 mm (6.38 in.)): 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)
