Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
C23-3(VC) - C23-2(E2) Ignition switch ON 4.75 to 5.25 V
C23-1(PIM) - C23-2(E2) 3.0 to 5.25 V

If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.

b.

Check the turbo pressure.

i.

Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

ii.

Turn the ignition switch to ON.

iii.

Turn the GTS on.

iv.

Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Data List / Boost Pressure Sensor.

Powertrain > Engine > Data List
Tester Display
Boost Pressure Sensor
50003 372 269

v.

According to the display on the GTS read the Data List.

OK:

The value is approximately equal to atmospheric pressure.

HINT:
·

Standard atmospheric pressure is 101 kPa (abs) (758 mmHg (abs)).

·

For every 100 m (328 ft.) increase in altitude, pressure drops by 1 kPa (7.5 mmHg). This varies with the weather.
