NR Series ENGINE CONTROL IGNITION COIL AND SPARK PLUG INSTALLATION

1.INSTALL SPARK PLUG

2.INSTALL NO. 1 IGNITION COIL
- HINT:
-
Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing a No. 1 ignition coil.
Install the 4 No. 1 ignition coils to the cylinder head cover sub-assembly with the 4 bolts.
- Torque:
- 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)
- NOTICE:
-
If a No. 1 ignition coil has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- HINT:
-
Install the same parts to their original positions.
Connect the 3 No. 1 ignition coil connectors.
Install the engine wire to the cylinder head cover sub-assembly with the nut.
- Torque:
- 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)
Engage the 2 clamps.
Connect the camshaft position sensor connector.
Connect the No. 1 ignition coil connector.
Connect the fuel pump assembly connector.
Connect the sensor wire connector.

3.INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Install the cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly with the 4 clips.
4.PERFORM INITIALIZATION
Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing a No. 1 ignition coil or spark plug.
