SEAT  SEAT HEATER SYSTEM  OPERATION CHECK  


CHECK THERMOSTAT IN FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER (SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER LH)


a.

Remove the front seat cushion heater (separate type front seat cushion cover LH).

Click hereVehicle Interior>SEAT>FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER (for Power Seat)>REMOVAL


b.

Remove the front seatback heater (separate type front seatback cover LH).

Click hereVehicle Interior>SEAT>FRONT SEATBACK HEATER (for Power Seat)>REMOVAL

Connect the B front seat cushion heater (separate type front seat cushion cover LH) connector and F front seatback heater (separate type front seatback cover LH) connector.


d.

Apply auxiliary battery voltage and check the operation of the front seat heater according to the table below.

NOTICE:

To prevent the front seat heater from overheating, be sure to disconnect the auxiliary battery from the front seat heater immediately after this inspection is completed.


OK:
Auxiliary battery Connection Specified Condition
Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal q1-1
·

Front seat cushion heater temperature 30 to 50°C (86 to 122°F)

·

Front seatback heater temperature 30 to 50°C (86 to 122°F)


Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal q1-2 and q1-3




CHECK THERMOSTAT IN FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER (SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER RH)

Remove the front seat cushion heater (separate type front seat cushion cover RH).

Click hereVehicle Interior>SEAT>FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER (for Manual Seat)>REMOVAL


b.

Remove the front seatback heater (separate type front seatback cover RH).

Click hereVehicle Interior>SEAT>FRONT SEATBACK HEATER (for Manual Seat)>REMOVAL

Connect the C front seat cushion heater (separate type front seat cushion cover RH) connector and G front seatback heater (separate type front seatback cover RH) connector.

Apply auxiliary battery voltage and check the operation of the front seat heater according to the table below.
