HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING  COOLER EXPANSION VALVE  REMOVAL  

1.RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

2.REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY

55701J 4.REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

88707 5.DISCONNECT SUCTION PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY (except M20F-FXS, M20G-FXS)

88716A 6.DISCONNECT COOLER REFRIGERANT LIQUID PIPE A (except M20F-FXS, M20G-FXS)

88707B 7.DISCONNECT SUCTION TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY B (for M20F-FXS, M20G-FXS)

88710E 8.DISCONNECT AIR CONDITIONING TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY (for M20F-FXS, M20G-FXS)

88515 9.REMOVE COOLER EXPANSION VALVE

a.

Using a 4 mm hexagon socket wrench, remove the 2 hexagon bolts.

b.

Turn back the cooling unit parts as shown in the illustration.

*a	Bolt for Suction Pipe Sub-assembly

Temporarily install the bolt for the suction pipe sub-assembly halfway to the cooler expansion valve.

d.

Hold the bolt and pull it to remove the cooler expansion valve as shown in the illustration.

*1	No. 1 Cooler Evaporator Sub-assembly

Remove the 2 O-rings from the No. 1 cooler evaporator sub-assembly.

NOTICE:

Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.
