After the ignition switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

HINT:

When the cable is disconnected / reconnected to the auxiliary battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the system is used.

NOTICE:

Make sure to select face mode before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.


Hide 55737B 4.REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER AIR DUCT SPLASH SHIELD SEAL (w/ No. 1 Heater Air Duct Splash Shield Seal)

Hide 87246 6.DISCONNECT OUTLET HEATER WATER HOSE (for 8ZR-FXE)

Using pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the outlet heater water hose.

NOTICE:
·

Do not apply excessive force to the outlet heater water hose.

·

Prepare a drain pan or cloth in case the coolant leaks.




Hide 87245 7.DISCONNECT INLET HEATER WATER HOSE (for 8ZR-FXE)

Using pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the inlet heater water hose.

NOTICE:
·

Do not apply excessive force to the inlet heater water hose.

·

Prepare a drain pan or cloth in case the coolant leaks.

Using pliers, grip the claws of the hose clips and slide the hose clips and disconnect the water hose sub-assembly.

NOTICE:

Do not apply excessive force to the water hose sub-assembly.

·

Prepare a drain pan or cloth in case the coolant leaks.

Remove the bolt and rotate the hook connector as shown in the illustration.

Disconnect the suction pipe sub-assembly.

Remove the O-ring from the suction pipe sub-assembly.

NOTICE:

Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

Disconnect the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A.

Remove the O-ring from the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A.

Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.



Hide 88707B 11.DISCONNECT SUCTION TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY B (except 8ZR-FXE)

Remove the bolt and rotate the hook connector as shown in the illustration.

Disconnect the suction tube sub-assembly B.


c.

Remove the O-ring from the suction tube sub-assembly B.

NOTICE:

Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

Push down the part (A) in the direction indicated by the arrow (1), to release the lock, and then move the lock lever in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) shown in the illustration to disconnect the connector.

NOTICE:

When disconnecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

Disengage each clamp to separate the instrument panel wire.
