When the front doors are closed, each power window regulator motor assembly can be operated for approximately 45 seconds after the ignition switch is turned from ON to off by receiving operation permission signals from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU). However, when approximately 45 seconds have elapsed, or the driver door or front passenger door is opened within approximately 45 seconds of the ignition switch being turned off, the power window regulator motor assemblies stop operating.
During auto operation, when 45 seconds have elapsed and key-off operation is prohibited, the power window will continue operating.
If a power window regulator motor assembly has been replaced with a new one, initialize the power window control system.
The power window control system uses the LIN communication system and CXPI communication system. Inspect the communication function by following How to Proceed with Troubleshooting. Troubleshoot the power window control system after confirming that the communication system is functioning properly.
Before replacing the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU), refer to Registration.
