MAINTENANCE 8ZR-FXE AUXILIARY BATTERY INSTALLATION

- NOTICE:

When replacing the auxiliary battery, use a new auxiliary battery of the same dimensions and same capacity or more from the same class at a 20-hour rate.
PROCEDURE
1.INSTALL AUXILIARY BATTERY
Install the auxiliary battery.

Install in this Direction |
Set the No. 2 battery clamp as shown in the illustration.
Install the bolt.
- Torque:
- 15.4 N*m (157 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf)
Connect the cable to the positive (+) auxiliary battery terminal and tighten the nut.
- Torque:
- 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)
Close the fusible link cover.
2.CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL
Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal and tighten the nut.
- Torque:
- 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)
3. INITIALIZATION AFTER RECONNECTING AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL
- HINT:

When disconnecting and reconnecting the auxiliary battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.
