Slide the sliding roof drive cable LH as shown in the illustration to install it.

HINT:: Use the same procedure for the RH side.

Adjust Fully Closed Position:

Using a screwdriver, slide the sliding roof drive cable LH in either direction and align the alignment marks as shown in the illustration.

HINT:: Use the same procedure for the RH side.

Install in this Direction

Insert the rear roof drip channel into the sliding roof housing sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

iv.

Engage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration to install the rear roof drip channel.

Adjust Fully Closed Position:

Using a screwdriver, slide the sliding roof drive cable LH in either direction and align the alignment marks as shown in the illustration.

Insert the rear roof drip channel into the sliding roof housing sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

iv.

Engage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration to install the rear roof drip channel.

Hide Display 63306 2.INSTALL SUNSHADE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY

a.

for TFTM Made Type A:

i.

Install in this Direction

Insert the sunshade trim sub-assembly into the sliding roof housing sub-assembly as shown in the illustration to install it.

ii.

Install the rear sliding roof sunshade stopper with the screw.

HINT:: Use the same procedure for the RH side.

iii.

	Install in this Direction (1)
	Install in this Direction (2)

Move the sliding roof piece sub-assembly LH in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) shown in the illustration to engage the 2 guides.

HINT:: Use the same procedure for the RH side.

iv.

Move the sliding roof piece sub-assembly LH in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) shown in the illustration to engage the guide and claw.

HINT:: Use the same procedure for the RH side.

i.

Insert the sunshade trim sub-assembly into the sliding roof housing sub-assembly as shown in the illustration to install it.

Install the rear sliding roof sunshade stopper as shown in the illustration.

	Install in this Direction (1)
	Install in this Direction (2)

Move the sliding roof piece sub-assembly LH in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) shown in the illustration to engage the 2 claws.

HINT:: Use the same procedure for the RH side.

iv.

Move the sliding roof piece sub-assembly LH in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) shown in the illustration to engage the guide.

HINT:: Use the same procedure for the RH side.

v.

Install the sliding roof piece sub-assembly LH with the screw.

HINT:: Use the same procedure for the RH side.

c.

for GTMC Made:

i.

Insert the sunshade trim sub-assembly into the sliding roof housing sub-assembly as shown in the illustration to install it.

ii.

Engage the 2 claws to install the rear sliding roof sunshade stopper.

HINT:: Use the same procedure for the RH side.

Hide Display 63260J 3.INSTALL SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR ASSEMBLY

a.

for TFTM Made Type A:

i.

Apply MP grease to the gear of the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly.

ii.

for Type A:

Install the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly with the 3 bolts.

Torque:: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)

iii.

for Type B:

Install the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

Torque:: 3.0 N*m (31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf)

iv.

for Type C:

Remove the 2 bolts and sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly.

Torque:: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)

b.

for TFTM Made Type B, GTMC Made:

i.

Apply MP grease to the gear of the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly.

ii.

for Type A:

Install the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

Torque:: 3.0 N*m (31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf)

iii.

for Type B:

Install the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly with the 2 bolts.

Torque:: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)
