2.CLEAR DTC

B

2.CLEAR DTC

Pre-procedure1

a.

Turn the ignition switch off.

b.

Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 60 seconds.

c.

Replace the side airbag pressure sensor RH with a new one or known good one.

HINT:

Click hereVehicle Interior>SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEMS>SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR>REMOVAL

HINT:
·

When using a new part, since the side airbag pressure sensor LH and RH have the same part number, prepare either one.

·

Use the prepared side airbag pressure sensor to check the side airbag pressure sensor LH as well.

d.

Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.

e.

Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
