CHECK INTERMITTENT CONTROL FUNCTION
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Move the front wiper switch to the INT position.
Check that the intermittent operation interval can be adjusted between approximately 4 and 12.5 seconds by operating the intermittent time adjustment switch.
CHECK VEHICLE SPEED SENSING TYPE ADJUSTABLE INTERMITTENT WIPER CONTROL
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Move the front wiper switch to the INT position.
Check that the intermittent operation interval changes between approximately 1.5 and 11 seconds according to the vehicle speed and the position of the intermittent time adjustment switch.
CHECK WASHER CONTROL FUNCTION
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Check front washer cooperation:
Hold the washer switch in the Fr WASH position for approximately 0.5 seconds or more and check that the front wipers operate in LO and washer fluid is sprayed. Then release the washer switch and check that the front wipers operate for 3 cycles.
Check rear washer cooperation: (w/ Rear Wiper)
Hold the washer switch in the Rr WASH position for approximately 0.5 seconds or more and check that the rear wiper operates in LO and washer fluid is sprayed. Then release the washer switch and check that the rear wiper operates for 2 to 3 cycles.
Drip prevention wiper function:
Operate the washers and check that approximately 3 seconds after washer cooperation operates, the wipers operate 1 cycle.
Perform this inspection with the vehicle stopped.
CHECK CAMERA CLEANER CONTROL SYSTEM (w/ Digital Rear-view Mirror System)
w/o Rear Wiper:
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Hold the washer switch in the Rr WASH position for approximately 0.5 seconds or more and check that washer fluid is sprayed.
w/ Rear Wiper:
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Hold the washer switch in the Rr WASH position for approximately 0.5 seconds or more and check that the rear wiper operates and washer fluid is sprayed.
CHECK AUTO WIPER FUNCTION (w/ Auto Wiper System, except Manual Transaxle)
When the driver door or passenger door is opened with the vehicle stopped and the shift lever in P, the wiper wiping operation stops.
Continuously apply water to the windshield glass in front of the rain sensor.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Move the windshield wiper switch assembly to the AUTO position.
Check that the front wipers operate.
HEADLIGHT CLEANER OPERATION INSPECTION (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)
The headlight cleaners operate as follows:
