When replacing the telematics transceiver, make sure to replace it with a new one.



PROCEDURE

1.CHECK DTC
a.

Turn the ignition switch to ON.


b.

Connect the GTS to the DLC3.


c.

Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait for 10 seconds or more.


d.

Turn the GTS on.


e.

Check for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

Disconnect the N215 telematics transceiver connector.


b.

Disconnect the N216 antenna cord sub-assembly connector.


c.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

N215-1 (ANT3) - N216-3 (TEL-SUB) Always Below 1 Ω
