CHECK DTC
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Cruise Control / Trouble Codes.
except 1GD-FTV (Urea SCR System):
for 1GD-FTV (Urea SCR System):
Check for DTCs (Test Failed / Pending / Confirmed).
| GTS Display | Description |
|---|---|
| Test Failed | Shows the malfunction judgment results during the current trip. |
| Pending | Shows the malfunction judgment results up to now. (Indicates the possibility of a malfunction when no DTC is confirmed.) |
| Confirmed | Shows the DTCs confirmed up to now. (The number of current trips differs for each DTC.) |
Freeze frame data is stored respectively for pending DTCs, confirmed DTCs and the latest DTCs.
CLEAR DTC
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Cruise Control / Clear DTCs.
except 1GD-FTV (Urea SCR System):
for 1GD-FTV (Urea SCR System):
Clear the DTCs.
Clearing the DTCs will also clear the freeze frame data.
