(Cooler Expansion Valve with Magnet Valve)


Inspect the operation of the cooler expansion valve with magnet valve.

i.

Connect the positive (+) lead of the battery to terminal 2(IG+) of the connector and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1(RMGV) and check that an operating noise can be heard.

If the result is not as specified, replace the cooler expansion valve with magnet valve.



b.

Inspect the resistance of the cooler expansion valve with magnet valve.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
1 (RMGV) - 2 (IG+) 20°C (68°F) 20.5 to 26.5 Ω


If the result is not as specified, replace the cooler expansion valve with magnet valve.
