Remove in this Direction


Slide the release hook knob and remove the emergency key as shown in the illustration.

Protective Tape


Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, remove the transmitter housing cover as shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:

Do not twist the transmitter housing cover with excessive force.

Remove in this Direction


Using a screwdriver with its tape wrapped in protective tape, remove the transmitter battery (lithium battery (CR2032)) as shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:
·

Do not push the terminals with your finger.

·

Do not forcibly pry up the transmitter battery (lithium battery (CR2032)) as the terminals may be damaged.

·

Do not touch the transmitter battery with wet hands. Moisture may cause rust.

·

Do not touch or move any components inside the transmitter. It may interfere with proper operation.

·

When replacing the transmitter battery (lithium battery (CR2032)), remove any static electricity from your body by touching the vehicle, etc., as the static electricity may damage the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly.
