BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS  REAR SPEED SENSOR  INSTALLATION  

Install the rear speed sensor to the rear axle hub and bearing assembly RH with the bolt.

Torque:

8.5 N*m (87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf)

NOTICE:

·

Keep the tip of the rear speed sensor and installation hole free of foreign matter.

·

Firmly insert the rear speed sensor body into the rear axle hub and bearing assembly RH before tightening the bolt.

·

After installing the front speed sensor to the rear axle hub and bearing assembly RH, make sure that there is no clearance between the rear speed sensor stay and rear axle hub and bearing assembly RH. Also make sure that no foreign matter is stuck between the parts.

Engage the 2 clamps and connect the rear speed sensor.

Engage the 5 clamps and connect the rear speed sensor.

NOTICE:

When installing the clamp, do not twist the wire harness.

Engage the 3 clamps and connect the rear speed sensor.

NOTICE:

When installing the clamp, do not twist the wire harness.

for Wagon:

Engage the 4 clamps and connect the rear speed sensor.

NOTICE:

When installing the clamp, do not twist the wire harness.

Install the rear speed sensor to the rear axle hub and bearing assembly LH with the bolt.

Torque:

8.5 N*m (87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf)

Connect the rear speed sensor to the rear axle housing with the bolt.

Torque:

19.5 N*m (199 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf)

Connect the connector.
