*1	Rear Shock Absorber Cushion Washer

Install the rear shock absorber cushion washer to the vehicle body.

NOTICE:

Make sure to install the rear shock absorber cushion washer in the correct direction.

Using a jack, apply load to the suspension so that the rear axle housing assembly is positioned as shown in the illustration.

Standard Length (A):

75 mm (2.953 in.)

CAUTION:

Do not jack up the rear axle housing assembly too high as the vehicle may fall.

NOTICE:

When jacking up the rear axle housing assembly, be sure to jack it up slowly.

·

Make sure to perform this operation with the vehicle kept as low as possible.

Install the rear shock absorber assembly with the bolt (A) and nut.

Torque:

Bolt (A) : 68 N*m (693 kgf*cm, 50 ft.*lbf)

Nut : 75 N*m (765 kgf*cm, 55 ft.*lbf)

NOTICE:

When installing the nuts, keep the bolts from rotating.
