1.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
7 (B) - 4 (MF)
5 (E) - 6 (MR) 		Return position Below 1 Ω
7 (B) - 4 (MF)
5 (E) - 6 (MR) 		Driving position 10 kΩ or higher
5 (E) - 4 (MF)
7 (B) - 6 (MR) 		Retract position Below 1 Ω


If the result is not as specified, replace the outer mirror switch assembly.



ii.

Check the mirror select switch and mirror adjust switch.

1.

Select the mirror select switch to the L position.

2.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance (for left side):
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
10 (VL) - 7 (B)
13 (M+) - 5 (E) 		Up Below 2 Ω
Off 10 kΩ or higher
13 (M+) - 7 (B)

Check the mirror select switch and mirror adjust switch.
