Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination conditions.

OK:

Battery Connection	Specified Condition
Battery positive (+) → e4-1 (STP) Battery negative (-) → e4-4 (E)	Stop light illuminates
Battery positive (+) → e4-2 (TL) Battery negative (-) → e4-4 (E)	Taillight illuminates

If the light is not as illuminated, inspect the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly LH.

Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination conditions.

OK:

Battery Connection	Specified Condition
Battery positive (+) → g2-1 (STP) Battery negative (-) → g2-4 (E)	Stop light illuminates
Battery positive (+) → g2-2 (TL) Battery negative (-) → g2-4 (E)	Taillight illuminates

If the light is not as illuminated, inspect the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly RH.

Standard Resistance:

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition

e4-2 (TL) - A-2
e4-4 (E) - A-3

If the result is not as specified, replace the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly LH.
