Check the operation of the power slide door main switch.

i.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
5 (MSW) - 2 (E) Power slide door main switch not Pushed (ON) Below 1 Ω
Power slide door main switch Pushed (OFF) 10 kΩ or higher


If the result is not as specified, replace the power slide door main switch.



b.

Check the illumination of the power slide door main switch.

i.

Apply battery voltage to the switch connector and check that the power slide door main switch illuminates.

OK:
Battery Connection Switch Condition
Battery positive (+) → Terminal 6 (ILL+)
Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 (ILL-) 		Illumination illuminates


If the result is not as specified, replace the power slide door main switch.
