PROCEDURE

Hide 85310 1.INSPECT WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear Wiper)

HINT:

This check should be performed with the windshield washer motor and pump assembly installed to the windshield washer jar assembly.

(Windshield Washer Motor and Pump Assembly)


Add washer fluid in the windshield washer jar assembly with the windshield washer motor and pump assembly installed to the windshield washer jar assembly.


b.

Check if the washer fluid is sprayed while the battery voltage is applied between the terminals of the connector.

OK:
Battery Connection Specified Condition
Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (B)
Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2 (SW) 		Washer fluid is pumped


If the result is not as specified, replace the windshield washer motor and pump assembly.

Add washer fluid in the windshield washer jar assembly with the windshield washer motor and pump assembly installed to the windshield washer jar assembly.


ii.

Check if the washer fluid is sprayed while the battery voltage is applied between the terminals of the connector.

OK:
Battery Connection Specified Condition
Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (B)
Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2 (SW) 		Washer fluid is pumped


If the result is not as specified, replace the windshield washer motor and pump assembly.
