7GR-FKS INTAKE / EXHAUST  EXHAUST PIPE  INSTALLATION  


PROCEDURE

Hide 17430 1.INSTALL TAILPIPE ASSEMBLY

a.

Install the tailpipe assembly to the exhaust pipe support.


Hide 17420 2.INSTALL CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

a.

Install a new gasket to the center exhaust pipe assembly.


b.

Connect the 3 exhaust pipe supports and install the center exhaust pipe assembly.

c.

Install the center exhaust pipe assembly to the tailpipe assembly with the 2 bolts.

Torque:
43 N*m (438 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf)


Hide 17403 7.INSTALL FRONT NO. 3 EXHAUST PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

a.

Install a new gasket to the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.


b.

Connect the 2 exhaust pipe supports.


c.

Install the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly to the front exhaust pipe, front No. 2 exhaust pipe and center exhaust pipe assembly with the 6 bolts and 2 compression springs.

Torque:
43 N*m (438 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf)

Hide 8.INSPECT FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAK

If gas leaking, tighten the areas necessary to stop the leak. Replace damaged parts as necessary.

HINT:

If an exhaust gas leak has been repaired, perform an inspection following the repair (See page Engine / Hybrid System>7GR-FKS (ENGINE CONTROL)>SFI SYSTEM>INITIALIZATION).
