7GR-FKS INTAKE / EXHAUST  INTAKE AIR CONTROL VALVE ACTUATOR  ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION  


PROCEDURE

Hide 1.INSPECT INTAKE AIR CONTROL VALVE (for ACIS)

a.

Remove the V-bank cover sub-assembly (w/ Cover).

Click hereEngine / Hybrid System>7GR-FKS (ENGINE MECHANICAL)>ENGINE ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL


b.

Stop the engine.


c.

Connect the GTS to the DLC3.


d.

Start the engine and turn the GTS on.


e.

Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Active Test / Activate the VSV for Intake Control.

Powertrain > Engine > Active Test
Tester Display
Activate the VSV for Intake Control

Make sure that a clicking sound is heard from the intake air control valve (for ACIS) when current flows.

If the intake air control valve (for ACIS) does not operate, check the ACIS control circuit.
