Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

1.REMOVE REAR AXLE SHAFT SNAP RING LH
Using a snap ring expander, remove the rear axle shaft snap ring LH.

2.REMOVE REAR AXLE SHAFT LH
Using SST and a press, press out the rear axle shaft LH.
Grind the rear inner axle bearing retainer LH using a grinder, and then remove it with a chisel.
Remove the rear axle shaft washer LH from the rear axle shaft LH.

3.REMOVE REAR AXLE HUB AND BEARING ASSEMBLY LH
Temporarily install 4 nuts to the backing plate to rear axle housing setting bolts.
Thread diameter: 12.0 mm (0.472 in.)
Thread pitch: 1.25 mm (0.0492 in.)
Do not use any nuts removed from the vehicle, as they may be damaged.
Using a hammer, remove the 4 backing plate to rear axle housing setting bolts and rear axle hub and bearing assembly LH.
Remove the 4 nuts.

4.REMOVE BRAKE DRUM OIL DEFLECTOR LH
Using SST, remove the 6 hub bolts.
Do not deform the oil deflector.
Make sure to align the notch of SST with the flange of the oil deflector.
Remove the brake drum oil deflector LH and brake drum oil deflector gasket LH from the rear axle shaft LH.
