HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING  REAR COOLING UNIT  DISASSEMBLY  


PROCEDURE

Hide 87165C 1.REMOVE BLOWER MOTOR CONTROL (for Controller Type)

Remove the 2 screws and blower motor control.


Hide 87138G 2.REMOVE REAR COOLER BLOWER RESISTOR (for Resistor Type)

Remove the 2 screws and rear cooler blower resistor.

HINT:

Use the same procedure for the other side.



Hide 88501R 4.REMOVE REAR EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

Remove the 5 screws and disconnect the No. 2 cooler thermistor connector.

Detach the claw and guide and rear cooling unit case center.

Detach the guide and remove the No. 2 cooler thermistor connector.


d.

Remove the rear evaporator sub-assmbly from the case.


Hide 88710H 5.REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY

Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, remove the 2 hexagon bolts and the air conditioner tube and accessory assembly from the rear evaporator sub-assmbly.


b.

Remove the 2 O-rings from the rear evaporator sub-assmbly.

NOTICE:

Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.
