Remove the 2 bolts and propeller shaft guard.

NOTICE:: ·

Make sure that the identification number of the propeller shaft guard is "1".

Make sure that the arrow of the propeller shaft guard faces the front of the vehicle.

Remove the 2 bolts and propeller shaft guard.

NOTICE:: ·

Make sure that the identification number of the propeller shaft guard is "2".

Place matchmarks on the propeller shaft flange, differential torsional damper and differential flange.

ii.

Remove the 4 nuts and 4 washers and disconnect the propeller shaft with center bearing assembly.

Place matchmarks on the propeller shaft flange and differential flange.

ii.

Remove the 4 nuts and 4 washers and disconnect the propeller shaft with center bearing assembly.

Remove the 2 set bolts and 2 washers of the center No. 1 support bearing assembly from the frame crossmember.

ii.

for Differential Side:

Remove the 2 set bolts and 2 washers of the center No. 1 support bearing assembly from the frame crossmember.

for Manual Transmission:

Remove the 2 center No. 1 bearing bolts and 2 washers of the center No. 1 support bearing assembly from the frame crossmember.

ii.

Remove the 2 set bolts and 2 washers of the center No. 1 support bearing assembly from the frame crossmember.

Pull out the propeller shaft with center bearing assembly.

NOTICE:: When pulling out the propeller shaft with center bearing assembly, make sure that transmission fluid does not leak from the extension housing.

HINT:: Transmission fluid may leak from the extension housing. Therefore, use a container to catch the fluid.

Remove the differential torsional damper.
