7GR-FKS EMISSION CONTROL  PCV VALVE  INSTALLATION  

Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring.

w/ Secondary Air Injection System:

Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the PCV valve (ventilation valve sub-assembly).

Adhesive:

Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324, Three Bond 1324 or equivalent

Install the PCV valve (ventilation valve sub-assembly) to the cylinder head cover sub-assembly LH.

Torque:

w/o Secondary Air Injection System : 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf)

w/ Secondary Air Injection System : 27 N*m (275 kgf*cm, 20 ft.*lbf)

NOTICE:

When reusing the PCV valve (ventilation valve sub-assembly), inspect the O-ring.

Connect the PCV hose to the PCV valve (ventilation valve sub-assembly) and slide the clip to secure it.

Install the No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly with the bolt to the cylinder head cover sub-assembly LH.

Torque:

10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)
