PROCEDURE

Hide 1.INSTALL FUEL PUMP

HINT:

Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the fuel pump with filter assembly.

*2 Fuel Pump Spacer


Apply a light coat of gasoline to a new O-ring, and then install the fuel pump spacer and O-ring to the fuel pump.


b.

Connect the fuel pump harness connector to install the fuel pump harness to the fuel pump.


c.

Install the fuel pump to the fuel suction plate sub-assembly (fuel filter).

NOTICE:

Make sure that the O-ring is not cut or pinched during the installation.



Hide 23217D 2.INSTALL FUEL PUMP FILTER

a.

Attach the claw to connect the fuel pump harness to the fuel pump filter.

NOTICE:

Do not damage the fuel pump filter.



b.

Attach the 3 claws to the claw holes to install the fuel pump filter to the fuel suction plate sub-assembly (fuel filter).

NOTICE:

Do not damage the fuel suction plate sub-assembly (fuel filter).



Hide 3.INSTALL NO. 1 FUEL SUB-TANK

a.

Attach the 3 claws and install the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.

NOTICE:

Do not damage the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.



b.

Install the jet pump to the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.

NOTICE:

Do not damage the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.



c.

Attach the claw and clamp, connect the jet pump.


d.

Attach the 3 clamps.


e.

Connect the 2 fuel pump connectors.
