Disconnect in this Direction


Using a moulding remover A, detach the 2 claws to disconnect the No. 1 shift lever knob cover as shown in the illustration.

Expand the Left Side of the Clip


Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, expand the left side of the clip and remove the shift lever knob sub-assembly and No. 1 shift lever knob cover from the shift lock control unit assembly as shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:

Be careful not to damage the shift lever knob sub-assembly.
