Detach the 4 claws and 2 guides and remove the slide cover sub-assembly from the shift lock control unit assembly.

Remove in this Direction

Remove the position indicator slide cover with No. 2 position indicator slide cover from the lower position indicator housing.

Detach the claw and remove the No. 2 position indicator slide cover from the position indicator slide cover.

Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the shift lever cap from the position indicator housing assembly.

NOTICE:

Be careful not to damage the shift lever cap and position indicator housing assembly.

	Remove in this Direction

Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws (A) and disconnect the lower position indicator housing from the upper position indicator housing assembly in the direction shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:

Be careful not to damage the lower position indicator housing assembly and upper position indicator housing assembly.

Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws (A) and disconnect the position indicator plate control from the lower position indicator housing in the direction shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:

Be careful not to damage the lower position indicator housing and position indicator plate control.

Detach the clamp to remove the indicator light wire sub-assembly from the lower position indicator housing.
