Turn the speed limiter system on using the speed limiter switch.


b.

Check that the speed limiter indicator illuminates in the combination meter assembly.


c.

Drive the vehicle at 30 km/h (20 mph) or more.


d.

Push the -SET switch.


e.

Check that the vehicle speed is limited to the set speed.

Check that the vehicle limit speed increases by an interval of 5 km/h (5 mph) while the +RES switch is pushed, and that the vehicle maintains the newly set speed when the switch is released.

Push the +RES switch and then release it immediately. Check that the vehicle limit speed increases by approximately 1 km/h (1 mph) (tap-up control).

Check that vehicle limit speed decreases by an interval of 5 km/h (5 mph) while the -SET switch is pushed, and that the vehicle maintains the newly set speed when the switch is released.


e.

Push the -SET switch, and then release it immediately. Check that the vehicle limit speed decreases by approximately 1 km/h (1 mph) (tap-down control).



HINT:

The lowest possible set speed is approximately 30 km/h (20 mph). The speed limiter system cannot be set below the lowest possible set speed.
