Temporarily install the No. 3 leaf spring bush, aligning with the matchmarks so that the protrusions are facing as shown in the illustration.

Using SST and a press, install the No. 3 leaf spring bush.

Hide 2.INSTALL NO. 4 LEAF SPRING BUSH

Using SST and a press, install a new No. 4 leaf spring bush.

Hide 48252 3.INSTALL REAR SPRING SILENCER (for Van Standard Roof)

a.

Install the 2 rear spring silencers to the rear No. 3 leaf spring with the 2 nuts.

Torque:
38.3 N*m (391 kgf*cm, 28 ft.*lbf)


Hide 48253 4.INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SPRING SPACER (for Van Standard Roof)

a.

Install 4 new rear No. 1 spring spacers to the rear No. 2 leaf spring.


b.

Install the 2 rear No. 1 spring spacers to the rear No. 2 leaf spring.


c.

Install 4 new rear No. 1 spring spacers to the rear No. 3 leaf spring.


Hide 48252F 5.INSTALL REAR NO. 3 SPRING SILENCER (except Van Standard Roof)

a.

Install the 2 rear No. 3 spring silencers to the rear No. 2 leaf spring.


b.

Install 4 new rear No. 3 spring silencers to the rear No. 2 leaf spring.


c.

Install the 2 rear No. 3 spring silencers to the rear No. 3 leaf spring.


d.

Install 4 new rear No. 3 spring silencers to the rear No. 3 leaf spring.


Hide 48220 6.REASSEMBLY REAR LEAF SPRING ASSEMBLY

Secure the springs with a vise and install the nut, rear spring center bolt and 2 rear No. 1 spring spacers

Torque:
49 N*m (500 kgf*cm, 36 ft.*lbf)

Using a vise, caulk the clip.


c.

Check that there is no gap between the spring clip and spring.


Hide 48375 7.INSTALL LEAF SPRING DYNAMIC DAMPER (except Van Standard Roof, w/ Dynamic Damper)

a.

Install the leaf spring dynamic damper with the rear spring clip set hexagon bolt and nut.

Torque:
18.2 N*m (186 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf)


Hide 48246 8.INSTALL REAR SPRING CLIP BOLT CASE (except Van Standard Roof, w/ Clip Bolt Case)

a.

Install the rear spring clip bolt case with the rear spring clip set hexagon bolt and nut.

Torque:
18.2 N*m (186 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf)
