AC60E AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE OIL PUMP DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

Hide Display 35301B 1.REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP BODY O-RING

Remove the front oil pump body O-ring from the oil pump assembly.

Hide Display 2.SECURE OIL PUMP ASSEMBLY

Place the oil pump assembly on the torque converter assembly.

Hide Display 35617 3.REMOVE CLUTCH DRUM OIL SEAL RING

Remove the 2 clutch drum oil seal rings from the oil pump assembly.

Hide Display 4.INSPECT OIL PUMP DRIVE GEAR ROTATION

Hide Display 35314 5.REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP PLATE

Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 3 screws and front oil pump plate from the oil pump assembly.

Hide Display 35370 6.REMOVE STATOR SHAFT ASSEMBLY

Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 7 screws and stator shaft assembly from the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

Hide Display 35370 7.INSPECT STATOR SHAFT ASSEMBLY

Hide Display 8.INSPECT OIL PUMP ASSEMBLY

Hide Display 35321 9.REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVE GEAR

Remove the front oil pump drive gear from the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

Hide Display 35322 10.REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVEN GEAR

Remove the front oil pump driven gear from the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

Hide Display 35301A 11.REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP OIL SEAL

Using a screwdriver, remove the front oil pump oil seal from the front oil pump body sub-assembly.
