AC60E AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE  PARK / NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH  ADJUSTMENT  


PROCEDURE

Hide 84540 2.ADJUST PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY

a.

While pushing the shift lock release button, move the shift lever to N.


b.

Remove the bolt of the park/neutral position switch assembly.


c.

Clean the bolt and bolt hole.


d.

Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads on the end of the bolt.

Adhesive:

Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1344, Three Bond 1344 or equivalent

Align the neutral basic line with the groove as shown in the illustration.


f.

Hold the park/neutral position switch assembly in position and install the bolt.

Torque:
12.8 N*m (131 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf)
