7GR-FKS ENGINE CONTROL ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

Hide Display 89422 1.INSTALL E.F.I. ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Apply a light coat of engine coolant to the O-ring of the engine coolant temperature sensor.

When reusing the engine coolant temperature sensor, inspect the O-ring.

Make sure that the O-ring is not cracked or jammed when installing it on the rear water by-pass joint.

Replace with a new part if it is dropped or if it receives a strong impact.

Insert the E.F.I. engine coolant temperature sensor to the end of the rear water by-pass joint and secure it with the clip.

Connect the E.F.I. engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the engine coolant temperature sensor.
