Apply MP grease to the lip of a new front crankshaft oil seal.

b.

Using SST and a hammer, tap in the front crankshaft oil seal until its surface is flush with the timing chain cover edge.

NOTICE:

·

Keep the lip free from foreign matter.

·

Do not tap the oil seal at an angle.

15609 3.INSTALL OIL FILTER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY

16268 4.CONNECT NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS PIPE

a.

Connect the No. 1 water by-pass pipe with the 3 bolts and nut.

Torque:

10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)

b.

Connect the 2 water by-pass hoses to the oil cooler assembly, and slide the 2 clips to secure it.
