Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following procedure.


PROCEDURE

1.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY POWER SOURCE)
a.

Disconnect the I24 clearance warning ECU assembly connector.


b.

Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

i.

for HEV Model:

Standard Voltage:
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
I24-1 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
I24-1 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch off Below 1 V



ii.

for Gasoline model:

Standard Voltage:
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
I24-1 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 10.5 to 16 V
I24-1 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch off Below 1 V

Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

I24-31 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
