i.
Connect a positive (+) lead from the auxiliary battery to T14-1 (IG) and a negative (-) lead to T14-2 (E).
ii.
Press the EC switch.
iii.
Install the black colored tape to the forward sensor to prevent it from sensing.
iv.
Light up the mirror with an electric light, and check that the mirror surface changes from bright to dark.
- OK:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition T14-1 (IG) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)
T14-2 (E) - Auxiliary battery positive (-)Light up the mirror with an electric light Inner rear view mirror surface
Bright → Dark
If the result is not as specified, replace the inner rear view mirror assembly.
